Injury and death are recurring themes on Futurama.

"Rebirth" (6ACV01)

• At the beginning of the episode Fry is covered with horrible burns, and nine of the eleven major characters are dead and hanging gruesomely over a vat of stem cells. As we learn later, although these crewmembers are "revived" in some sense, this Fry is a robot, and the real Fry is dead. That is, really dead.
• Zoidberg cuts off Hermes' "umbilical cord".
• Bender's antenna pokes Fry in the eye.
• Bender dies for a moment.
• Leela spends some time in a coma and a euthanasia/memorial service is held for her.
• Bender causes various unspecified injuries on a dance floor at a bar and is thrown out onto his back in the street.
• Leela's comatose body takes a beating in Farnsworth and Fry's final attempts at reviving her.
• The two Leelas have a karate fight over Fry.
• Robot-Fry accidentally shoots himself in the chest with a ray-gun.
• Excessive vibration causes Bender to drop one of his eyes when he decides finally to stop partying.
• Bender explodes inside the cyclops eater, apparently killing it.

In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela

• Zapp shoots Emperor Chop-Chop in the chest.
• V-Giny destroys three inhabited planets.
• Zapp smacks his nose, and later his groin, against Farnsworth's stealth fighter.
• Bender laments the death of his guinea pig.
• While Farnsworth describes the formation of V-GINY, his presentation holgram explodes, throwing the bodies of everyone pleasant in every direction.
• Farnsworth slaps Fry in the face.
• For a while, Leela believes that the earth has been destroyed.
• An apple falls from a tree and hits Leela on the head.
• Leela beats Zapp when she finally gets the whole truth of his ruse to get sex from her.

Attack of the Killer App

• Antarians partially disassemble Bender.
• An Antarian bird flies through a cloud of toxic smoke and comes out a skeleton, which continues flying.
• On the Third World of the Antares system, Fry gets a nosebleed from breathing fumes from a toxic fire.
• An Antarian dog's tail spontaneously falls off.
• Antarian children play in a pile of toxic waste. Later, off-screen, they are whipped.
• On the news, Morbo wraps up a "breaking puff piece" with an overlay depicting a frightened cat on a tree branch and the caption, "Death Plunge".
• An iPhone advertisement explains that an iPhone owner can check his/her email while being hit by a train.
• Approaching the iPhone store, and finding himself walking into bright light, Farnsworth believes that he has died.
• Fry has his iPhone and earpiece installed.
• Mom and her sons appear in this episode; stooge-style injuries ensue throughout
• A character on "The Real Housewives of Sim City" repeatedly crashes into a wall.
• On an episode of "All My Circuits", Calculon's nephew has had one of his dimensions cut off.
• Leela is thrown through the windshield of the Planet Express ship as it crashes into its hangar. She lands on the company conference table.
• At MomCorp headquarters, an infosquito sucks something from the brain of a market study participant.
• Bender shows a video of Fry being incapacitated by a coat-stand in a mock karate match.
• Farnsworth sets his own head on fire in a Mentos accident.
• Leela lances Susan in the middle of "Amazing Grace". Later, Leela smashes Susan by sitting down hard on a curb.
• Hoschel mentions that Jared from Subway was eaten by a giant caterpillar.
• Fry breaks a diving board, falling two stories onto the Planet Express hot tub deck.
