Koji is a Japanese man and is the chairman on Iron Cook. Koji speaks his native language of Japanese and also can speak fluently in English, although his accent is very noticeable, particularly on 'r' sounds. He is based on Takeshi Kaga, the "chairman" from the show "Iron Chef"
