Professor Farnsworth's 21st Century Ancestor was responsible for creating the deadly Podcast People. He is not directly related to Philip J. Fry. In the early 21st Century when Podcasting and "Going Green" was popular, he developed a Soybean Plant that someone could attach to their head and directly broadcast Podcasts into their mind. The plants bonded too well with their owners, eventually beginning to resemble them, and could never be turned off or stop talking, boring people to death. The World's governments joined forces and blasted all the Podcast People into space.
