The resin-offering robot is a resident of Chapek 9. He first comes upon Fry and Leela during their search for Bender, while Fry has stopped to urinate behind some garbage cans (1ACV05). The robot comes upon Fry and mistakes the "leakage" for a coolant leak, and he offers to patch Fry up with hot resin. After Fry turns him down the robot becomes suspicious, but Leela is able to convince him that they have to go do mindless tasks. While the robot is going away his exhaust fumes cause Leela to sneeze, alerting him to their humanity. He turns around screeching loudly, but Leela kicks him down. She and Fry escape the robot, and he is picked up by the Anti-Human Patrol but quickly dropped back to the ground as they go searching.
He is seen again, when the human hunting mob discovers Bender talking to Fry and Leela in the adult book store (1ACV05).

Trivia
- According to the commentary for "Fear of a Bot Planet", the screeching noise that he makes to alert the Anti-Human Patrol comes from the movie Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
