:Just to make myself clear. East and west exist on a 'flat' map. But places are western or eastern according to the place or the line uses as the center of it. Western?

For me a sphere doesn't have a left side and a right side. So, talking about a western hemisphere bothers me a little.Yach 11:59, 12 August 2010 (CEST)

Just to make myself clear. East and west exist on a 'flat' map. But places are western or eastern according to the place or the line uses as the center of it. For example, France is eastern if US is the center of the map, but western if Japan is the center of the map.Yach 12:08, 12 August 2010 (CEST)
