:Just to make myself clear. East and west exist on a 'flat' map. But places are western or eastern according to the place or the line uses as the center of it. - Just to make myself clear. East and west exist on a 'flat' map. But places are western or eastern according to the place or the line uses as the center of it. For example, France is eastern if US is the center of the map, but western if Japan is the center of the map.Yach 12:08, 12 August 2010 (CEST)
