Slurm

The "Slurm" article has been labelled the following levels:

This article is thoroughly developed.
No focus level has been assigned.

Buddy13 FW16.png I don't mind the strikethroug gags, but I'm not sure it's appropriate on this page. I mean, he is addicted, isn't he? In fact, isn't "Highly addictive" part of their advertising?

User:Gopher/sig ... I dunno. I was thinking of it as suggesting an edit by "censors" but since one of their slogans is "It's highly addictive!" it does seem a bit odd.

Template

I think this article, as one of only two articles in the category, should serve as a base-point for the creation of a ProductArticleTemplate. Please work on this page until it is awesome enough for a template to be made from it. Then future Product articles can be even equally awesome. Buddy13 FW16.png 14:27, 7 September 2006 (PDT)

External references

The Slurm logo has been referenced in animated short film Logorama (at time around 2:17). However, I have no idea whether it is appropriate to mention it here. 188.112.107.223 14:57, 16 March 2010 (CET)

It is mentioned in our in popular culture article. --Sviptalk 15:08, 16 March 2010 (CET)

Appearances

What are we putting in the appearances list? Are we including every time you see a can of Slurm or advertisement for it? Or only when its mentioned? Since the list is so short, I can't tell if its just incomplete or there is some way its being sorted. I know there is a poster for it in the pilot and Fry is drinking it in When Aliens Attack off the top of my head. There is also the vending machine robot in Mother's Day (assume that's on the page for the robot, though). Otherwise, I would just start adding everyplace Fry is drinking it.—JediRogue 02:57, 28 December 2010 (CET)

Yes, this list should have cans, posters, ads and vending machines, but has been incomplete for quite some time. as the page states though, we're not including the opening sequence. - Quolnok 13:02, 28 December 2010 (CET)
However, Slurm appears in every episode. Outside the opening sequence. --Sviptalk 13:17, 28 December 2010 (CET)
It does? I can't find it in every episode, but I can find it in a lot not listed here. I suggest we list all episode with a little note, like those already there (such as on a poster in Fry's apartment). Aki 16:51, 28 December 2010 (CET)
I haven't noticed it in every episode, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was. I will start to take notice myself as I'm going to do a little tracking of things while I watch Futurama for the umpteenth time. —JediRogue 02:43, 29 December 2010 (CET)
If Slurm appears in every episode, then the Appearances list would obviously be pointless here. Someone better confirm it. (I don't have all the episodes, and don't plan on streaming them all right now either.) Svip, are you sure? I could swear I haven't seen Slurm in a few. San Saber 14:44, 29 December 2010 (CET)

Slurm appears in every episode, either directly or indirectly. Be on a truck in a time lapse shot (a lot of these where we just view the PE from the outside with a Slurm truck), a poster, another form of commercial, a mention or an actual can. I know this is true in the original run, not sure if it is true since the films. --Sviptalk 17:48, 29 December 2010 (CET)
