The first "goof" isn't really a goof, in my opinion. The professor is most likely just saying Fry is stupid and everyone knows it, based on many casual observations. Like, he must have some kind of brain problem, even if there's no direct evidence to prove it. Such an assumption may be offensive to people with real brain conditions, but the professor isn't afraid of offending minorities or groups that are otherwise "different", especially off-record. 75.60.222.155 23:31, 29 March 2008 (PDT)
- Possibly, but you must remember that the writers write the same season almost together. Which is why several in-jokes or concepts or whatnot appear over the course of the same season, but may not appear again in another.
