:The name is a reference to an old song. As it is explained in the article. And in that song it is written "Time Keeps on Slippin'" without the g. I noticed as well that my DVD box says "Slipping" as well. But in a similar fashion, my DVD box also says "Episode Two: The Series Has Landed" rather than just "The Series Has Landed". Personally, I believe the DVD boxes to an extent. - The name is a reference to an old song. As it is explained in the article. And in that song it is written "Time Keeps on Slippin'" without the g. I noticed as well that my DVD box says "Slipping" as well. But in a similar fashion, my DVD box also says "Episode Two: The Series Has Landed" rather than just "The Series Has Landed".
