{{User:Gopher/sig}} Spent a LOT of time on this, gotta try it out now and see how much time it really saves me. Want to get your opinion first, but I'd like to rewrite "Adding to the Wiki" to use this method, instead of copying and pasting from another character. Streamlines the process, and makes it trivial for any user to conform to the established style format. It's not exactly like our current format; I made a "Trivia" H2 with appearances and quotes as sub-headings, and moved family up to be a sub-heading of Biography, plus a few other minor changes.

{{User:Buddy13/sig}} Looks good to me. Way better idea to do a copy/paste template rather than trying to figure out a fancier way (too much work!). Good job.
{{User:Buddy13/sig}} Done. But you shouldn't ever need to even ''look'' at the templates. I know I never do. All you do is type "<nowiki>{{subst:CharacterArticleTemplate}}</nowiki>" on the page you're creating, and hit save. That sticks the template in there for you and puts the working template on. Then hit "edit" again and start working on it. Cheers!

I am afraid not so many use it - I for one don't.  Also, shouldn't the article start with an introduction of the character.  Only if the character's biography is too long for being in the opening, should it have a section. --'''[[User:Svip|Svip]]'''[[User talk:Svip|Talk]] 05:59, 17 January 2008 (PST)
