Why the hell can't I edit this transcript??? It says "the Futurama memory bank that anyone can edit" on the front page.
Anyway, the name "Groady" on line 11 is incorrect. It should be "Grote", for Jerry Grote, an actual Mets player and the only one who matches phonetically. He played for the Mets from 1966 to 1977, which conveniently puts a date range on when this takes place (and thus Fry was born). Sbwoodside 03:08, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
