Wikisimpsons

Hey. How're you doing? (Peace be with you. Praise Jebus.) Just wanted to tell you something you're probably not aware of. The Infosphere has recently become affiliates with Wikisimpsons. Since you're more of a Simpsons fan than a Futurama fan, I guess you'd be interested in knowing how to link there. Here it is: [[simpsons|Wikisimpsons|Wikisimpsons]]. (Disclaimer: This may or may not be related to your edit to The Simpsons article.) I'm out. Sanfazer 19:11, 20 January 2011 (CET)

{{et}}

Hi. Coming by to tell you a little about the use of the Et template, as I'd like us (you, me, and the rest of the wiki) to be editing in a close way. Articles like The Grumpy Snail and Rab-Bot specifically deal with information from only one episode, so if we want to use the template, it kind of makes sense that it be separated from all the text. However, that's not what if was made for. (See this for details.) In these cases, we've been going with what seems more logical. For instance, you can say Fry worked at a pizzeria without referring to 1ACV01, but you probably should refer to it when mentioning "the first time he visited the Head Museum". Also, regarding your redirect, you could've just moved (renamed) the page. Do you know how to do that? Sanfazer 00:37, 15 February 2011 (CET)

  • Hola. I will admit that I'm still a rookie on the whole use of templates. So should the Et template be used within an article when citing a specific fact (such as the second sentence of Rab-Bot), as opposed to the end? And no, I haven't the faintest idea how to move an article. I looked around and couldn't figure out how to do it, so I just moved text around. -- DeepSpaceHomer 01:13, 15 February 2011 (CET)
