Welcome!

Welcome to the Infosphere! We're glad to have you as a member. If you need any help, feel free to ask anyone on the welcoming committee. You can also post questions on the FAQ talk page.

New users must read the Help pages before creating a new page.

Here are some tips to get you started:

  • If you need general information, editing tips, or answers to frequently asked questions, check out the help page.
  • Before you do any significant editing, be sure to familiarize yourself with our wiki standards and our Manual of Style.
    • If you have an idea for a major change that will help The Infosphere, suggest it over at the Conference Table.
  • If you want to create a new article, make sure that it doesn't already exist and that the article you've created is linked to from another article. Our article templates should help you out.
  • If you're not sure what you can do to help out, head over to current events.
  • To practice editing, go over to the playground.
  • You can help decide what's on the Main Page by voting on Featured Articles or making new nominations.
  • You can also use "{{subst:UserpageTemplate}}" on your Userpage, if you wish to have a simple starting point. Additionally, you can make use of userboxes
  • Remember to sign your posts to talk pages by using four tildes (~~~~). Alternatively, you can create a custom signature at User:Farnsworth/sig, and insert it by typing {{User:Farnsworth/sig}}, preferably followed by five tildes to insert the date. This can also be configured on the Special:Preferences page.
  • If you have a personal website (Futurama-centric or completely unrelated), feel free to add it to the Community Portal
  • Above all, be sure to be bold and have fun!

Feel free to delete this message when you're done reading it. After all, your user space belongs to you. I hope this information is helpful, and that you'll have a good experience contributing to our knowledge-base and our community.

Sincerely,
Teyrn of Highever, and "The Infosphere Welcoming Committee" 12:48, 7 June 2011 (CEST)

Pool

Hello. Can you please re-upload File:Medieval New York.png, File:Leaning Tower of Pisa.jpg, and File:Big Ben.png on the pool? Images don't belong here. Sanfazer 17:09, 27 June 2011 (CEST)

For some reason, i can't create an account there. --Farnsworth 15:20, 29 June 2011 (CEST)

Pool troubles

Hey. Regarding your troubles with the pool, you might already have an account there which is why you can't create one. I think a pool account comes with the one you create here, or at least I had one when I joined the site. Just a thought. -- DeepSpaceHomer 22:24, 2 July 2011 (CEST)

Yes, if I recall correctly you can just login with the same name and password. - akitalk 16:29, 4 July 2011 (CEST)
It worked, thanks! --Farnsworth 16:50, 4 July 2011 (CEST)

31st century edits

Thanks for your edits on the 31st century article (and any others I didn't see, for that matter). Awesome stuff! I myself easily get really bored doing these kind of things, but they really make a difference for the wiki. Cheers! - akitalk 13:13, 8 August 2011 (CEST)

Thanks! I've tried to standardize the "century" articles. --Farnsworth 17:52, 17 August 2011 (CEST)
