The '''Watergate Hotel''' was the hotel that contained the office complex that held the Democratic National Committee in [[1972]], and was well known for the break-in and the subsequent cover-up by the [[Richard Nixon]] administration.

In [[3000]], while running for president using the body of [[Bender]], Nixon was staying at the Watergate Hotel for their repeat customer discount.  When Nixon refused to give Bender back his body, Bender and his friends broke into his hotel room at the Watergate Hotel to steal it back. They were successful, but Nixon just bought a bigger robot body, and was elected into office on the robot vote.

In [[3017]], the [[universe Γ|universe]] was pulled into [[hypnowaves]] after the [[Hypnotoad]] summoned the [[female hypnotoad]] from a perpendicular universe. While [[New New York]] was reconstructed, Nixon and the [[last clone of Agnew]] emerged from the hypnowaves in the Watergate Hotel.{{disputed canon}}
