Yivo is a huge purple tentacle creature from an alternative universe, which we do not know by now. He will play an important part in "The Beast with a Billion Backs" (TBwaBB)

In the episode Template:The Farnsworth Parabox, when the planet express crew and their duplicates are searching the boxes, Leela puts one over her head and purple tentacles (possibly Yivo's) grab her.
