Brittany Anne Murphy-Monjack (10 November, 1977 – 20 December, 2009) was a well-known actress and singer who provided the voice of Colleen O'Hallahan in The Beast with a Billion Backs.

Prior to this, Murphy provided the singing and speaking voice of Gloria the penguin in Happy Feet. She was also the voice of Luanne Platter, Hank and Peggy's niece who was sent to live with the Hill family after her parents were sent to jail on domestic violence charges, in King of the Hill. She had also appeared in such movies as Clueless, Uptown Girls, Sidewalks of New York, and Drop Dead Gorgeous.

She passed away on 20 December, 2009, in Los Angeles. An autopsy ruled the primary cause of her death was Pneumonia, with secondary factors of iron-deficiency anemia and multiple [over-the-counter] drug intoxication.
