The Fox technician worked at the New York City Fox affiliate (WNYW) in 1999. He was on duty during the season finale (and final episode) of Single Female Lawyer when Fry knocked over a can of beer, knocking Fox off the air. This later became the reason for an Omicronian invasion 1000 years later.
