Dispute of character

I think that Gynecaladriel IS Amy, and not an alternate version of her. - Jasonbres 03:59, 4 July 2008 (BST)

I have to agree with you there, cause if we allow this article, then certainly we ought to allow the Coilette article. Which have decided not to, as its content can be added as a section in the Bender Bending Rodríguez article. In a similar fashion, Gynecaladriel could be a section in the Amy Wong article. Because what should be obvious from the trailer, is that all our primary characters play an alternative role in this fantasy world. So you could argue you'd need articles for all those extra characters as well. Having this article is just confusing. --SvipTalk 10:11, 4 July 2008 (BST)
Personally, I'm not 100% sure that it is our Amy. Certainly the trailer shows some characters transitioning between universes and forms, but Amy isn't one of them, she'd be more Bender 1 than Coilette. In any case, we should hold off on this article. - Quolnok 12:13, 4 July 2008 (BST)
Perhaps we can do like what we did with the All My Circuits characters? --SvipTalk 03:11, 6 July 2008 (CEST)
Yeah, and do that with all the Bender's game characters. so far, we've seen dragon fry and mom, blob zoidberg, centaur leela, wizard farnsworth and knight bender. are there any more?--Scruffy
Someone looking like Hermes appears as a centaur as well in the dancing scene, but he has blonde hair, so it could be our Hermes 1 ;). --SvipTalk 03:23, 6 July 2008 (CEST)

Name origins

While I have yet to see the film, due to it being released next month here, since I saw the preview long ago I've thought the name came from gynecology (and Galadriel, whoever that is). This would explain the 'c' and it would make more sense to derive it from a study of human female reproductive organs than a caste of insects. In fact the pronunciation in the trailer sounded more like "Gynecoladriel". *checks* In fact, the trailer's captioning spells it as such. - Quolnok 05:57, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

I, too, took her name to be a reference to gynecology, since her "Female reproductive organs" seem to be her most commonly used asset. --Ozzie 10:12, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
