Journey Man[edit]

I was going to get that Journeyman one first! Blast my non-existent internet connection! --Buddy 17:40, 22 November 2007 (PST)

Go Bender, go Bender, go Bender! And I can't even take Journeyman in my country! --SvipTalk 17:52, 22 November 2007 (PST)

Monsters vs. Aliens[edit]

According to this review of Monsters vs. Aliens, there is apparently a Futurama reference at the very end of the credits, can we get any disclosure on this?! --SvipTalk 00:41, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Didn't look at the review yet. It ought to show up on 'kipedia or IMDB soon if there is a reference. I don't particularly feel like seeing that movie myself, hopefully someone with a small child will take one for the team. - Quolnok 02:49, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
It's funny though, despite being labelled as a film for children, there are quite a lot of adult themes in that film from my understanding. Ah, if it makes anything better, I may be going to see it today - without a small child, that is. But I would not be surprised if it was enjoyable, The Incredibles was as well. It is very common for Pixar films to include a wide verity of jokes that only adults get. So watching it hopefully won't be unbearable, besides, it's only an hour and a half, it's not like I haven't wasted the same amount of time on a Futurama film, eh. Anyway, possible update later today. --SvipTalk 08:38, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
I saw it, and I didn't get that it was a Futurama reference. In fact, I think it's a bit of a stretch to say that it is. The concept of freezing heads has been around since long before Futurama. --Buddy 21:56, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
I have to admit, I felt similar when I saw it. It seemed like a stretch. But DreamWorks might have made a Futurama reference as a payback for the reference Futurama did. But who knows. Should we remove it? --SvipTalk 22:34, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Big Piece of Garbage? - Quolnok 03:55, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
Eh, I am thinking of the GeneWorks, S.K.G. in "Three Hundred Big Boys". What were you thinking of? Or are we not talking about the same thing? --SvipTalk 09:44, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
I was thinking the idea of firing something into space that becomes a problem 100s of years later. - Quolnok 10:37, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

remove[edit]

i'm gonna remove some of the unlikely ones. if you have an argument against it revert it. here's a list of the ones i got rid of: Monsters vs. Aliens, over the hedge and the day robots woke up. if there are any others, say it here. --I'm Scruffy... the Janitor. 06:22, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

New Earth[edit]

Hey Svip! could you fix up the links in the new earth section. none of them are working properly. --I'm Scruffy... the Janitor. 21:01, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Once I realise how the internal interwiki links work on Wikia. --Svip 21:09, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

loony tunes?[edit]

I am pretty certain that the shot of Dr. Zoidberg is actually from the show "Duck Dodgers." Either way, it'd be nice if there was some more info about it. "Loony Tunes" is a term that encompasses several decades of material and several different television incarnations.

That's odd. I coulda sworn it did say Duck Dodgers. I wonder when it changed... --67.176.104.253 18:19, 6 April 2010 (CEST)
i'll fix it up later, i'm gonna do yet another update of the page. --I'm Scruffy... the Janitor. 00:10, 7 April 2010 (CEST)

Danger Doom[edit]

Someone should add Danger Doom. "Space Ho's" has the lyric: Look Leela eyeball to eyeballs. Then there's the track El Chupa Nibre too. I would do it, but I'm not good at linking stuff, etc. in wikis.

Done --I'm Scruffy... the Janitor. 08:09, 7 May 2010 (CEST)

xkcd Comic 482[edit]

[1] Near middle of log scale. Planet express ship can clearly be seen.

comic?[edit]

The robot in this looks a lot like Clamps. http://macromeme.com/dog/capcha-tattoo.html -- the preceding unsigned comment was written by 71.208.0.189 before 22:33, 25 November 2011 (CET).

Without a doubt. Do you know how to add it to the article? Sanfazer (talk) 22:33, 25 November 2011 (CET)
Never mind. It has been added. Sanfazer (talk) 18:08, 26 November 2011 (CET)

Leela?[edit]

Deepak Chopra has a new video game out for Kinect and Wii, called "Leela" apparently named after his granddaughter. Does anyone know anything about this? Would it count as a reference? --Buddy (talk) 20:04, 28 November 2011 (CET)

Maybe, but there's also this game with the same name. Sanfazer (talk) 20:11, 28 November 2011 (CET)

more of meatbag[edit]

in Sonic chronicles: the dark brotherhood, E-123 omega also calls the characters meatbag once.
