The Yetis are large primate-like creatures. They are known to live on Neptune and its moon Triton. They also live on Earth, in the Himalayas Mountains in Asia. The Planet Express crew was attacked by three of them in 3007 (BBS) and Professor Farnsworth and Dr. Zoidberg once went on a Yeti-hunting trip at the behest of Mom (6ACV18).
Yetis are the source of the contagious disease Yetiism, which transforms its victims into Yetis themselves.
