Francis X. "Clamps" Clampancos is probably the most violent of the Robot Mafia, ready to clamp anyone at any time. His big breakthrough episode will be the upcoming "The Silence of the Clamps", in which he takes a job at Planet Express under his real name.[1]
Biography
Little is known of Clamps' past, other than that he attended four years of clamping school.
Character description
Clamps' clamps are a rarely seen style of robot hand, that are apparently replaceable (Donbot offered to give Blotto a pair), and require regular maintenance. However this may be due to overuse. Clamps has a scar, riveted back together, below his right eye.
Production
As evidenced by the commentary for "Bendless Love", the producers wanted 'Clamp clamp ka-bamp!' to be his catchphrase.

- According to "Xmas Time Is Fear"; Clamps needs to replace his clamps each year, "like running shoes".
- Strangely, while Joey Mousepad and Donbot are members of the League of Robots, Clamps is not.
