Da Vinci's spacecraft is a flying machine that allows the user to travel through space. It was designed by Leonardo da Vinci and built sometime in the 15th or 16th century. This machine is not aerodynamic, but "spacedynamic" instead. It carried Fry and the Professor to Planet Vinci in July 3010. They they used the spacecraft to return home. Once back on Earth, Farnsworth must have kept it.

When the crew found the relics that Leonardo's lost workshop was hiding, Fry and the Professor managed to assemble the spacecraft.

Trivia

  • There are many obvious problems with da Vinci's spacecraft. It could not have been launched into space by the cannon, as the force would not be sufficient. If the force of the cannon was strong enough, the spacecraft would have been destroyed, seeing as it was made of wood. Once in space, the fins and the turning headpiece appear to be propelling the ship by displacing air, although there is no air in space.
  • There couldn't possibly be enough food, water and oxygen on the ship to last Fry and the Professor for a month.

Quotes

The Professor: No wonder this contraption isn't aerodynamic. It's not an aircraft, it's a spacecraft!
