Actually, I think the previous spelling was correct. Machina may be the Latin spelling, but da Vinci speaks with an Italian accent, so the name of his invention should be within the Italian language. I also did some research, and, in Italian, machina and macchina have different pronunciations (Google Translate). See for yourself which one is used in the episode, Teyrn.
