Use

For citations of DVD content, information appearing on DVDs can easily be regarded as canon, as the producers and writers have a hand in what appears on its content.

Usage

One of these two parameters are required (volume and film).

Required

volume
The volume (i.e. box set) the DVD is part of, e.g. Two or Three. Do not use real numbers (like 2 or 3). Cannot be used together with film.
film
The film DVD. Cannot be used together with volume.

Optional

disc
The disc on the box set it appears on. Can only be used with volume.
where
Where on the DVD it appears, so that readers may be able to find it, e.g. "DVD menu" or "Menu for <episode>".

Examples

For a box set
*{{cite dvd |volume=Two |disc=2 |where=DVD menu}}
For a film
*{{cite dvd |film=Into the Wild Green Yonder |where=DVD menu}}
