Use
For citations of DVD content, information appearing on DVDs can easily be regarded as canon, as the producers and writers have a hand in what appears on its content.
Usage
One of these two parameters are required (volume and film).
Required
- volume
- The volume (i.e. box set) the DVD is part of, e.g. Two or Three. Do not use real numbers (like 2 or 3). Cannot be used together with film.
- film
- The film DVD. Cannot be used together with volume.
Optional
- disc
- The disc on the box set it appears on. Can only be used with volume.
- where
- Where on the DVD it appears, so that readers may be able to find it, e.g. "DVD menu" or "Menu for <episode>".
Examples
- For a box set
