The handheld laser cannon is a weapon that was first used by Zapp Brannigan in 3003 on board the Nimbus to battle holograms which became real (4ACV01). Professor Farnsworth also used one to shoot Adolf Hitler in the second universe and Eleanor Roosevelt in the third universe during a time travel they began in 3010 (6ACV07).

- The weapon has a range of over 3000 miles as Professor Farnsworth was able to aim and to shoot Adolf Hitler (who was in Germany) from where New New York was going to be.
