Grade level
In this episode, Hermes says that he will be promoted to Grade 36, the 36th highest grade there is. If this is so, then two things: 1) Why is 1.0....1.0? There wouldn't be decimal points unless they skipped numbers, which they wouldn't do. 2) The Trivia says that it was left as 1.0 so that they can add higher grades with decimal points and what not, but if 36 is literally 36th, this also makes no sense. - We didn't write this show. But the reason for 2) is because the writers wanted to allow for an even HIGHER level in a later episode, if that ever occurred. You may use that to explain that Hermes only know of 1.0, and thus assumes (perhaps wrongly) that grade 36 is the 36th grade, but it may not be.
- Remember the most important rule with fiction: Characters can lie, be wrong and/or misinformed. What they say may not be the literal truth within said fiction. --Sviptalk 13:24, 12 October 2010 (CEST)
- Good point. I tend to think on the logical side, and how they speak it sounds impossible, but your point makes sense. Polantaris 03:55, 14 October 2010 (CEST)
