The Micro-droid machine is an invention made by Professor Farnsworth. The Planet Express crew used it to inside of Fry to remove the parasitic worms. It was invented because it was too expensive to just shrink the subject. The person scans himself and a microscopic, robotic version known as a micro-droid would be created by the machine. The droid would be controlled using the net suits. The person stops controlling the droid if the connection is disrupted, usually by removing net suit.
