The War of 2012 was a war in which Conan O'Brien may have participated, resulting in the loss of his freakishly long legs.

The name of the war is possibly a reference to the real-life War of 1812, where the British won over the U.S. in war the U.S. had started. The name itself reflects this.

O'Brien: I may have lost my freakishly long legs in the War of 2012, but I have one thing you'll never have: a soul.
