Jack Johnson was the presidential candidate for the Tastycrats in the 3000 election. However, he and his bitter rival John Jackson were beaten by Richard Nixon, who beat them both by exactly one vote.
Jack Johnson and John Jackson share the exact same DNA, and are most likely clones of some unknown person. During the campaign, Jack Johnson felt that John Jackson's three cent titanium tax went too far.
