Linda van Schoonhoven is co-anchor of the Channel √2 News on channel √2, as well as Good Morning, Earth, both with Morbo. She frequenly laughs at very serious news or threats from Morbo, and often describes news in a cheery way no matter how tragic it is.

Her first bigger part was in the film Into the Wild Green Yonder, when she was one of the Feministas along with Leela and Amy - this was also the first time she interacted with the main characters.

• Her last name is only confirmed in a deleted scene of the fourth film.
• In several episodes she newscasts alone, according to commentaries this is because they leave Morbo out of episodes that have a large focus on aliens such as Lrrr or the Blobs.
