The Norwegian seed guard is an employee at the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, who uses barking snakes as guard dogs, and holds a rifle for protection (6ACV13). His job is to look over visitors of the Vault, and to get seeds out of it. He speaks with a broad Norwegian accent and is probably Norwegian, seeing as he works on Svalbard.
Production
His voice sounds like that of Futurama writer Dan Vebber, and speculations have arisen that Vebber has in fact voiced the character.
