Bender's Game is the third of the four Direct-to-DVD films, to be released in 2008.

As of 8 July, 2007 the voice acting for all the films (which includes the fifth season) is finished, according to Lauren Tom[1]. Guest stars include George Takei and Rich Little.

On the commentary of Bender's Big Score, David X. Cohen says Bender's Game is probably going to be released by Christmas, 2008. Since then, Bender's Game has been officially confirmed for release in November 2008 in Europe, suggesting it will probably be out before Christmas in America. Quite possibly on the one year anniversary of Bender's Big Score.

While plot details are still sketchy, we know that at least one plot will match the "Fantasy" genre more closely than "Sci-Fi". A preview of Bender's Game which came with The Beast with a Billion Backs[2]. After doing some Robot Wars like action with the Planet Express Ship, the crew ends up in a Fantasy like world, where they all become fantasy like creatures. With a lot of Dungeons and Dragons references.
